On top of being able to find an incredible community here right away, two of my friends from high school also happen to be studying abroad in London this semester. We are all literally within two miles of each other. It has been quite surreal hanging out with them this last week (as they both arrived in London a bit later than me). The phrase we keep using is "Skan does London." And it is quite true. We have been taking on the London atmosphere together and it has only just begun. It's wonderful having some familiarity over here, because no matter how bold of an adventurer you are, it's always nice to be reminded of home. I also could not pick two more fun and genuine people to be over here with. This semester truly is going to be a blast!
